You go up, then come down, twist and turn unexpectedly, sometimes even do a backflip (andhar balti, if that’s relatable). Same with life, right? Okay, I can hear you say “புதுசா எதாவது சொல்லு டா” (“tell us something new da!”). Stay with me, let’s break it down. Here is what happens:

A train reaches the station

People get onboard

It is lifted up using a chain

It falls down with a help of gravity

It does a bunch of stuff in the middle

Finally, it comes back to the station, and the cycle repeats

What is life here, you ask? The complete experience is life, including the cycle repeating again. புரியல? (can’t understand?)

Let’s say you are the train. Then, the track is the concept of time. Each trip is a phase of life with it’s own ups, downs, twists, and turns. The passengers are the people you interact with. Some of them go for a second round, while others disembark to make way for new passengers.

What about the external factors? First up, the chain! Almost every roller coaster starts with a chain, or some form of lifting mechanism, to get the train up to a height. Otherwise, the ride would not function at all. Similarly, even you need some form of outside help to get to where you aspire. Be it education, career experience, or just a little encouragement. That chain is very crucial for everyone to enjoy the ride.

Now for the twists, turns, and other features. Although these give a jerk as you go through them, they give each roller coaster a unique character. They play a vital role in attracting the riders, making you their favorite (or the opposite), and how they remember the experience. All of this happens in everyone’s life too. When you meet people, the way you take them along in your journey makes them choose whether they’ll keep coming back or find another coaster.

You may wonder how will you be a train in your own coaster, as well as a passenger for multiple others at a time! 🤔. Guess, three dimensions are not enough to perceive this complicated, yet beautifully coordinated, theme park called Earth.

BTW! Always remember the role of the architect, the constructor, and the maintenance team in ensuring the coaster’s success!

You’ve probably heard life being compared with a roller coaster ride.
